Landon’s work now focuses on connection and reconnection. He feels it is essential that we restore the relationships between ourselves, non-human animals and the natural world. He believes that individual and community health are inextricably linked to ecosystem health.

Landon is a remarkably driven person. His current positions and projects are:

  •  Cofounder and Executive Director, Project ReConnect (The UCLA Ecological Medicine & Psychedelic Studies Initiative). 
  • Chair, Innovations in Mental Health Council, UCLA Psychiatry Department and Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Special Advisor, UCLA Psychiatry Department Chair and Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior Director.

Over the years, Landon has been a founder of, or founding investor in, over 20 companies, resulting in the full range of exits, from private sale to IPOs to purchase by Fortune 50 companies. He has been engaged by some of the world’s most famous brands as an executive advisor and has also been an advisor to various non-profits, start-ups and academic faculties and programs. Landon is noted for seeing opportunity hidden in complexity by looking at challenges in unique ways. He has leveraged his insight in strategy and vision, new venture development, culture and team building, innovation and transdisciplinary collaborations, and marketing and brand strategy.

A continuous learner, his personal studies include Critical Thinking, I-O Psychology, Interpersonal Dynamics, Leadership Development, Conflict Resolution, and Thanatology. He practices yoga, archery, martial arts, and meditation. Landon also is a hospice volunteer and an End-of-Life Doula.
