Wes is a Board-certified psychiatrist in Colorado who has developed nature-based and trauma-informed clinical services as well as training programs for health care providers. In 2021, Dr. Tate created Pathways, a first-of-its-kind group therapy program that uses connection with nature to treat people with mental health conditions. Wes is also the medical director of The Trauma Foundation where he oversees services and programs that support the healing of unresolved trauma for individuals, families, and communities. At The Learning Network, Wes is focused on improving equitable access to nature in order to make nature-based approaches to support health available in more communities.
